A 77-year-old woman has died after a crash on the A75 in the south of Scotland.
The accident – involving a red Suzuki Ignis and a white Peugeot Partner van – happened at about 11:20 on Wednesday near Skyreburn.
The woman – who was a passenger in the Suzuki – was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment but later died.
The driver and passenger of the van – a man and a woman both aged 70 – were taken to Dumfries Infirmary for treatment. The 74-year-old man who was driving the Suzuki was not injured.
